After 11 years of offering online education, the National University of Medical Sciences (founded in 2012 by osteopath, naprapath, chiropractor, Dr Shawn Pourgol) is going campus based! The Executive Board has approved for NUMSS to offer face to face, in-person, campus based programs at our university.
Within the next year, once we register the in-person programs with the Ministry of Education, we will evolve from an online university to a Campus Based university offering both online as well as in-person programs.
British medical doctor and osteopath, Dr William Goggin Cobb, a graduate of the National University of Medical Sciences (Spain) has joined NUMSS as Curriculum Director in charge of overseeing campus based curriculum development, improvement and evaluation and ensuring it meets the Ministry of Education and private accreditation organizations requirements.
Dr. Cobb has extensive university administration and teaching experience. He has been instrumental in getting NUMSS degrees evaluated and approved in the United States by the California University Foreign Credential Evaluation.
As always our students would continue to have access to our 100% online education. However those who wish to study in a classroom setting would soon have that option as well. This is another way for us to step up and improve to ensure we continue to provide clinically based, applied, & unique health related education to our students.
