Boston-based Dr. Jean Pierre—a police officer, real estate investor, and osteopathic manual practitioner—has achieved a milestone. A graduate of the Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) program at the National University of Medical Sciences – Spain, he recently attended an osteopathy continuing education program at the new waterfront campus of the National University of Medical Sciences – USA Center for Continuing Education in Bonita Springs, Florida.
One of Dr. Pierre’s lifelong goals is to serve as a volunteer doctor in Africa. He shared with the class that he has been accepted into an accelerated Doctor of Medicine (MD) program in India, leveraging his DO degree from Spain. As an advanced student, Dr. Pierre will complete six months of online study, followed by a six-month internship in Africa, enabling him to graduate as a medical doctor ready to provide charitable medical care in Africa.
Additionally, a university in the Caribbean also accepts graduates of our DO program in Spain into their accelerated MD pathway.
