An Overview of NUMSS Admissions to the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Program

Why Enroll in the DPT program?

Designed for practicing physiotherapists, the DPT program integrates physical therapy art and science, as well as professional and experiential education. It provides you with the necessary knowledge base to become a doctor of physical therapy. Core courses within this doctoral program include differential diagnosis, diagnostic imaging, pharmacology, nutrition, and manual medicine.

Why Choose to Study DPT at NUMSS(Spain)?

We are the largest provider of DPT education in Europe with alumni in 72 countries. We have expanded DPT to many countries without formal DPT education such as Iran that does not yet have a DPT education as medical doctors oppose it as they do not wish physiotherapists become doctors. We however now have over 400 DPT alumni in Iran and hope within next few years all 6000 physiotherapists in Iran obtain the DPT in order to provide better healthcare to the public.

Purposefully we have kept our tuition low so physical therapists in any country could afford studying our DPT program. Our DPT degree is evaluated and approved in the United States by Validation Corp and California University FCE and it is legalized by Spain Ministry of External Affairs and Spain Ministry of Justice. Many countries accept our DPT, the last one being the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

This DPT program is ideal for the working physiotherapists as they will have the flexibility to study at the time they wish without leaving home. As there is no need to attend a classroom, they can watch the lectures at the comfort of home. While there is no requirement to attend an in-person class, we offer a week long in-person practical manual therapy technique review class at our campus in Spain and other locations including Los Angeles at California Health University, Panama City at Pourgol Osteopathy Chronic Pain Hospital and Seville at Seville University of Health & Medicine. Based on demand we may also offer this class at selected 378 clinics of Osteopathy Chronic Pain Clinics of Canada operating in 34 countries including Pakistan, Canada, The United States, Spain, Singapore, Malaysia, Iran, India, Korea, Greece, Croatia, Thailand, Czech Republic, Ireland, United Kingdom, France, Trinidad & Tobago, Hong Kong, Morocco, Namibia, Philippines, Lebanon, South Africa, Azerbaijan, and Israel.
